During the monsoons a visit
to Sarasbagh in Pune can be an intoxicating experience - what with the
water-lilies in full bloom and the heronries full of new born chicks and
fuzzy cattle egrets strutting their breeding plumes, taking tentative
steps on the lotus leaves and a turtle incorporating all the colours of
his surroundings - Monsoon Madness at its best. Here is a painting by Parmita reflecting that same mood.
